Parking Services facilitates parking and transit options for more than 2,000 events each year. We diligently strive to balance the parking and transit needs of numerous campus and community stakeholders to provide the best options possible for attending a campus event. From time to time, certain lots need to be closed to accomodate these large events in support of our campus goals. The Parking Services Events group works to reduce impacts on event parking and traffic, however, Parking Services has no control over the hosting group, event locations, dates or times the events are scheduled. We offer support by providing realistic solutions as events arise.
The mission of the Parking Services Events team is to reduce and mitigate the impact of large campus events on daily university operations for permit holders and event guests.
We appreciate post-event feedback that can improve the experience for the visitor and the parking patron. Please email your suggestions to: ParkingEvents@colorado.edu.
For large scale campus events such as athletic matches or commencements please see the links to the right for more information. For all other campus events, please contact the group hosting the event, or contact us for information about parking for your event.
